How do you put flat back earrings in?

If you've never worn flat backs before, they can feel a little different—but after a couple of attempts, they quickly become second nature.

Step 1 - Insert the flat back post through the back of your piercing.

Step 2 - Hold the flat disc firmly behind your ear.

Step 3 - Take the decorative front and gently screw it onto the post. Turn clockwise until it feels secure.

Step 4 - Give the front a final gentle tighten while continuing to hold the back in place.

Are flat back earrings difficult to put in?

The first time can take a little patience - especially if you're used to butterfly backs. Our top tip is to use a piece of Blu Tac to hold the charm to make it easier to screw in. 

Once they're in, you won't need to remove them every day, making them much more convenient in the long run.
