Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all products purchased from By Rae.

We aim to deliver your order safely and in perfect condition to the address provided at checkout. To ensure smooth delivery, please provide a complete and accurate address where someone is available during normal business hours.

For security reasons, we do not ship to post office boxes or addresses where the recipient cannot be clearly identified.

For Domestic (UK)

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - Delivery time 1 to 2 working days - Cost £4.50

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - Delivery time 2 to 3 working days - Cost £3.50

Shipping Times

United Kingdom

All orders placed before 2pm Monday-Friday will be shipped same day. Outside of this window, orders will be shipped the next working day. 

Estimated delivery time is 1 to 3 working days depending on the selected service

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors.

Customs and Import Taxes

For international orders, any customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please check your local regulations before placing an order.

EU Orders - Customs and Import Taxes

From 1 July 2026, the European Union have introduced a new import fee on orders shipped from outside the EU.

As By Rae is a UK-based business, orders delivered to EU countries may be subject to an additional €3 customs fee per product category (this is per item), in addition to any applicable local taxes or import charges. These fees are set by EU customs authorities and are outside of our control.

Any applicable duties, taxes or import fees are the responsibility of the customer upon receipt.

Shipment Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. This allows you to monitor your delivery progress.

Delays

By Rae is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs processes, or other external factors beyond our control. Delivery times do not include weekends or public holidays.

Undelivered Packages

If delivery is unsuccessful and no one is available to receive the parcel, it may be returned to the local delivery depot. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange redelivery or collection.

Incorrect Shipping Address

We are not responsible for lost or undelivered packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout. Please ensure all details are accurate before placing your order.

Orders are shipped with a 15 minute turn around, for that reason we are unable to amend an address if entered incorrectly. 

Secure Delivery Address

We recommend using a secure delivery address such as your home or workplace. By Rae is not responsible for lost or stolen parcels once delivery has been confirmed.
