Hello,

Whilst I was travelling my jewellery kept tarnishing and going green. I wanted pieces I could wear every day and not have to worry about them taking them off to shower or swim. I knew I wanted to start my own jewellery brand to solve this problem but didn't know how. 

Then during lockdown I was faced with a lot of extra time so I spent that time researching until I discovered stainless steel jewellery with a PVD gold plating is waterproof and durable. I spent months planning and teaching myself everything from how to build a website and how to find manufactures until By Rae was born. 

I wanted to ensure that the feeling of being 'that girl' when you wear jewellery is accessible to all so all our prices are as affordable as possible. I also wanted to make sure I was giving something back, so with each order placed we fund for 1lb of plastic to be removed from oceans all over the world. 

This little lockdown project has turned into something so incredible and I can't wait to help more people to feel their best selves.
