The post. 16g (1.2mm), internally threaded, with a smooth flat disc on the back. It's a touch thicker than most butterfly-back studs, so it might feel snug at first.
Betty U-Hoop? There, 6mm or 8mm is the hoop size. Our model wears the 8mm in her lobe.

How to put them in
Three easy steps

Unscrew the top
Wash your hands, then twist the top off the post, anticlockwise.

Post in from the back
Push the post through your piercing from behind your ear, so the flat disc sits against your skin.

Screw it back on
Hold the disc still and twist the top on, clockwise, until it's snug. Done. Now forget about it.
Tip: do it over a towel, not the sink. The tops are tiny.
Your questions, answered
Will they fit my piercing?
Posts are 16g (1.2mm), standard for flat back jewellery but a touch thicker than some traditional butterfly-back studs. If that's all you usually wear they might feel snug at first. A taper tool or professional piercer can help fit these for you. For the post length click 'find your perfect fit' above.
Which length do I need?
It depends on your piercing stage and individual anatomy. We recommend: Healed piercings: 6mm (lobe, upper lobe, helix, forward helix and tragus). Conch, or new and still-healing piercings: 8mm. On the Betty U-Hoop, 6mm or 8mm is the hoop size (see the size guide)

Can I actually sleep in them?
That's exactly what they're made for. The smooth flat back means no post or butterfly digging in, so they're comfy for sleeping, headphones and workouts.
Can I shower and swim in them?
Yes. Shower, swim, spin, repeat. They're waterproof and sweatproof and won't turn your ears green.
Single or pair?
Single is one earring, pair is two. Mixing singles is the easiest way to build your stack.
